I had the pleasure of photographing one of my long time friends Debbie and her family at Fort Phoenix a few weeks ago. We had such a great time..... it's been way to long since we've seen each other. Here are a few of my favorites so far....enjoy!!

How it came to be...........

So I've been doing some soul searching and I figured how it came to be........................................... I guess it all started when I was 8 or 9 trying to make my own Barbie doll clothes. I remember making a pattern and sewing with left over fabric my mom had. Around age 13 my new passion was making Floral arrangements and different crafts for my family members (which my mom still has a swag on her wall that she wont get rid of EVER). When I was able to land probably the best job of my life at the age of 21 I felt I had finally found my passion...Fashion Merchandise, gosh I just loved working in a retailer where you were able to express your fashionista style through wall displays, mannequins and my favorite..... Window displays. I loved how the whole store came together with my talents along with my brunettes and my 2 blonde's.....they know who they are.....we made the Best team ever!!!! When I met the love of my life we discovered a whole new passion....making an apartment into a home. My love for Interior design was shortly shining through. I LOVED every second from paint to fixtures to buying Decor. What was a girl to do when all this was done?......that was simple I started designing for family and friends. I can't even imagine how blessed and happy I was to have people ask me to please help them with their homes...but throughout this journey I bought my first film camera at age 11 god I loved that camera and everyone who knows ME... knows I love taking pictures and of course having to be in them at all times...my brother & sister in- law can tell you that .......I had to be in every Engagement picture that was taken over 25 years ago of them. At this point of my life I work for a great company but find the need to express myself through what I Most love to do Creatively Design.....thanks to my wonderful parents & family who support me and are my biggest fans...especially my sisters and the most important critic of all who makes me fight for my dream, inspires and constantly assures me what I'm doing is right and at the end of the day or when I feel down he lets me be me and understands me for who I am.....thank you babe your love & support to "keep it movin"..................................

So I've been trying to customize my blog....and it's work in progress. I have a couple of sessions coming up (as soon as my stitches are taken out of my thumb) so 1 more week and I can pick up my camera again so check back soon....let me know what you think about my work in progress

Over the weekend my husband & I went to my friend Nova's wedding to Rick...we had a great time and I was excited to have the opportunity to take some shots of their event...although I didn't want to get in anyones way I managed to capture some great moments ...this was truly a great experience for me and Nova & Rick I hope you will enjoy...here's a few that I love

I had the pleasure of taking photos of the newest member of the family Arianna while visiting from Florida...this session was so funny as Arianna left me my first surprise on my background gosh I love babies....
